Número de Cartel: PP 937
Información sobre el cartel: This poster heralds modern agricultural techniques in the wake of the collectivization policy that forced consolidation of all private land holdings in the USSR from the 1920s into the early '30s. Private farmland was abolished and properties were turned into collective farms or kolkhozes run by the state. The man with the white beard wears a medal for “Inspector of quality” while the young guard behind him suggests an omnipresent symbol of Soviet authority over the workers and the farms.
