Información sobre el cartel: El Komsomol era la Unión Comunista Leninista de la Juventud. En sus inicios, recibió del nombre de Liga Comunista de la Juventud Rusa (RKSM, por sus siglas en ruso), pero tras la unificación de la URSS, se convirtió en una organización y sección de la juventud de toda la unión del Partido Comunista de Toda la Unión. Komsomol representaba el último escalón de tres organizaciones juveniles de la URSS. Sus miembros tenían entre 14 y 28 años, los cuales pasaban a formar parte de sus filas después de haber pertenecido a los Jóvenes Pioneros. Antes de pertenecer a los Pioneros, hasta que cumplían 9 años eran parte de los Pequeños Octubristas.

The Krasnii Proletarii Workshop originated under the ownership of Ivan Kushnerev, a Russian entrepreneur who founded the Kushnerev & Company Printing Shop in 1869 in Moscow. Iskusstvo was the Art Publishing House (A.K.A. Visual Arts Publishing) that was created in 1936 from Ogiz-Izogiz (State Art and Literature Publishing House). It disseminated books and journals dealing with graphic design and the fine arts, and it issued numerous posters. Since the Iskusstvo banner was part of the State Printing Works in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) and Moscow, its two main offices were located in those two cities.
