Información sobre el cartel: Este cartel es de grandes dimensiones. La Estación Hidroeléctrica Dniéper se construyó en el río Dniéper, el tercero más largo de Europa. Arquitectos soviéticos diseñaron la presa y sus edificios, mientras que un equipo estadounidense colaboró en las labores de ingeniería. Cuando en 1932 terminó de construirse, ésta fue la presa más grande del mundo, convirtiéndose en uno de los mayores éxitos del primer Plan Quinquenal de la Unión Soviética.

Gustav Klutsis is considered the foremost artist of Soviet photomontage. Born near the small town of Ruiena, Latvia, (when Lativa was part of the Russian Empire), Klutsis attended the State Art School in Riga from 1913 to 1915 and then moved to Petrograd (St. Petersburg) during immediately prior to the October Revolution. The 5th Lithography Workshop, 12th Lithography Workshop, 16th Lithography Workshop, and the 26th Lithography Workshop were all Moscow printers under the Mosoblpoligraf banner.
