Printer Notes: The Poligrafkombinat (printing plant) of Kalinin was the printer for Sovnarkhoz RSFSR (Regional Council of National Economy of the Russian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic) of the city of Kalinin (now known as Tver), northwest of Moscow. The printer was located at 5 Lenin Ave. (formerly Voroshilov Street). Sovnarkhoz was a system of economic reorganization that came about in 1957 whereby over 100 "economic regions" were created to reduce the previous state administered policy of a top-down approach to local economies.
