Poster Notes: This poster exalts the Proletkult (proletarian culture) campaign to educate workers in order to raise a new proletarian class of educated citizens. The campaign became attached to the People's Commissariat of Education (Narkompros) in 1920 bringing it in line with educational and artistic policies of the state. Proletkult activity declined in late 1921 and by 1922 it lost funding from Narkompros. The campaign was formally dissolved in 1932.
