Publisher Notes: VTsIK is the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the Council of Workers, Peasants, Red Army Soldiers and Kazaks’ Deputies. At the time this poster was issued, the publishing house was located in Moscow at 11 Tverskaia Street in a building that once housed the German Charitable Foundation during the Imperial Russian era. By 1920, the building was used as a book warehouse for the State Publishing Company and by the mid-1920s, it housed the Novaia Derevnia (New Village) publishing house.
