Poster Notes: [Around Red Army soldier labeled clockwise: selection for special missions; proletarian sport, forge of victories; extinguishing fires; struggle with illiteracy; reinforcements to the front; in place of speculation, productive labor; aid to the village; women workers are soldiers of the revolution]; Vseobuch was the U.S.S.R.'s universal training. By decree, all citizens were obligated to receive basic military training even if they did not join the Red Army. Vseobuch was also the name of the administration that managed the training before 1921 and its term was also used for pre-inductee training, a mandatory practice after 1925.
