The man with the sword is Baron Peter Nikolaevich Wrangel' (1878-1928). He was one of the most dedicated leaders of the White Russian movement after World War I and fought against the Bolshevik forces.
This poster is of particular significance given the widespread hunger in Russia at the time, which would lead to the famine that struck in the following two years.
