Mashistov Typolithography was located in Moscow at 23 Bol'shaia Sadovaia Street and Ivan Mikhailovich Mashistov (1851-1914) was its founder and director. The house printed magazines, historical books and, during the First World War, it printed and published patriotic posters. In 1918, Mashistov Typolithography was nationalized by the Soviet government and it became the 15th Typo-lithography Workshop of the MGSNKh (Moscow City Council of National Economy).
