Poster Notes: Chirchiq (A.K.A. Chirchik) is a city located northeast of Tashkent in Uzbekistan. The city was founded in the mid-1930s on the Chirchiq River when a group of villages united during the construction of a hydroelectric power station. The Chirchiq project was one of the most important industrial works ever carried out in Central Asia.
