Poster Notes: Deceased Imperial generals illustrated on the poster are: Anton Denikin, Alexander Kolchak and Nikolai Iudenich. Pulling the wagon are Peter Vrangel’ (another general) and a Pan (Polish lord) being whipped by the Entente of allies from WWI. Next to the Entente is a bourgeois man with rubles. At rear is a pomeshchik (landed estate owner), then a social predator, and Tsar Nicholas II; Top margin reads "RSFSR Workers of the World Unite!"

Dmitrii Stakhievich Moor (birth surname Orlov) was born into the family of a mining engineer and did not receive formal artistic education. After moving to Moscow in 1898, and between 1902 and 1906, he actively participated in the city’s revolutionary movement, specifically taking part in the failed 1905 Revolution.
