Nikolai Ivanovich Tereshchenko was a Soviet painter and graphic artist. In his youth, Tereshchenko and his family moved to Moscow. In 1939, he graduated from MGKhI (Moscow Secondary Art School). During the Second World War, Tereshchenko was evacuated to the village of Voskresenka in the Bashkorostan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
