					Petr Golub' attended the Moscow Institute of Fine Arts and graduated in 1938.  His final work there was a large painting executed in gouache, The Dance of the Collective Farm Workers. 					There is little published information available about the life and career of Anatolii Chernov.  He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Fine Arts in 1938, and during his professional life, worked in the field of graphic design and monumental art. 			Iskusstvo was the Art Publishing House (A.K.A. Visual Arts Publishing) that was created in 1936 from Ogiz-Izogiz (State Art and Literature Publishing House). It disseminated books and journals dealing with graphic design and the fine arts, and it issued numerous posters. Since the Iskusstvo banner was part of the State Printing Works in Leningrad (St. Petersburg) and Moscow, its two main offices were located in those two cities.
