Poster Notes: Poster was produced by the German Government for occupation of Russia and Ukraine during World War II. In 1943, occupying Germans exhumed mass graves of Ukrainians near Vinnitsa in Soviet Ukraine and found the majority had been executed by Soviet authorities during the Great Purge of 1937-1938. The exhumation was called the "Vinnitsa Massacre" and it was publicized as anti-Soviet propaganda by the Germans.
