Artist: Kazhdan, Evgenii Abramovich — Kаждан, Eвгений Aбрамович

Evgenii Abramovich Kazhdan was a Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, and a poster artist. During the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) Kazhdan served in the Red Army. After the war, he worked as a graphic designer for the Moscow Regional Art Fund (Mosoblhudozhnik) from 1947 to 1954, and from 1967 to 1968, he worked for the Moscow Art Fund in their workshop of visual propaganda. Kazhdan designed for catalogs, invitation cards and he elaborated exhibition halls working internationally in Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Hungary and Finland.
