Ol’ga Konstantinovna Burova was a Soviet graphic artist that chiefly worked in the field of poster design. Burova studied at the “Moscow Regional Art Pedagogical School of 1905” (MKhU) from 1935 to 1938.

Among the decades-long exhibitions that featured her work are: Vienna (1948) and Berlin (1953) and the Moscow-based All-Union Poster Exhibition (1958) dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the October Revolution. A sample of her posters includes: “Forward to the West, Red Cavalry!” (1942), "Forward-Facing Collective Farms - Thanks from the Front" (1944), "Collective Farmers! Restoration of Roads and Bridges is Our Duty to the Motherland!” (1944), "I'll be a Miner" (1945), "I Vote for the Candidates of the Bloc of Communists and Non-Aligned!" (1947), "Forward to the Victory of Communism! 1917–1957” (1957) and, “Long Live the world! Down with the War!" (1958). Ol’ga Burova married the noted Soviet poster artist Victor S. Ivanov and together the couple co-designed posters. Burova was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and a corresponding member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR. She was also the recipient of several State Prizes of the USSR.
