Little information is available on history of the 2nd State Artistic Lithography in Kharkov. During the period the printer was in operation, Kharkov was the capital city (until 1934) of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic In 1923, the name of Rybnaia Street (where the printer was based) was changed to "Cooperative Street".
