Moscow Offset Printing Plant
The Moscow Offset Printing Plant has a long history in Russia's capital city. Located in the Chistye Prudy neighborhood at 14 Myl'nikov Lane (a.k.a. Zhukovskii Street), the printer was the Russian Partnership prior to nationalization. Following governmental acquisition, the printer became the 5th Mospoligraf tipolithography (around 1922) during a period of consolidation that occurred in the Moscow printing industry. With a staff of over two thousand, Mospoligraf oversaw a myriad of printers under local sections. Subsequently, Mospoligraf was the second-largest printing trust in Moscow outside of Mospechat’ trust. By the early 1970s, the printer was named the Moscow Offset Printing Plant.
